Academic council

  Each University shall have an Academic Council which shall consist of the following members, namely:

• The Vice-Chancellor, Chairperson;
• Director Research, Member;
• Director Extension Education, Member;
• All Deans/ Assoc. Deans, Members;
• Four Heads of the Department from each Faculty nominated by the vice-Chancellor on rotational basis;
• Two teachers of the Professor rank from each faculty to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor on rotational basis;
• One eminent agriculture educationist from outside the University to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor;
• Registrar, Member;
• DRI-cum-Dean, PGS, Member Secretary;
• Comptroller, Non member invitee;
• Project Planning and Monitoring Officer, Non member invitee ;
• University Librarian, Non member invitee;

Academics Activities       

During the current academic year university has started various academic programmes

PG in 10 divisions of  FOA &  in 14 divisions in  FVSc.

 Ph.D. 10 divisions of  FOA &  in 6 divisions  of  FVSc & AH

62 students admitted in BVSc & AH &  29 in  B Sc (Agri.)

25 students in various disciplines of MSc (Agri.) &   23 in MVSc

30 research scholars in  various disciplines  in Ph. D
