Promotion of pulses in Jammu region through Front Line Demonstration -- Farmer participation progarmme Besides conducting Co-ordinated Research on different pulses,Pulses Reserach Sub-Station ,Samba of SKUAST-Jammu is regularly promoting pulses cultivation in Jammu region especially in Jammu ,Kathua, Samba , Udampur and parts of Reasi to cater the need of the farmers through Front Line Demonstration programme. Every year as per the directions of Project headquarter the Front line demonstrations on Chickpea(Channa), Lentil,Urdbean and Mungbean is promoted in different parts of the Jammu region.
